Eevee Heroes Gym Box

The Eevee Heroes Gym Box, commonly known as the Eevee Heroes Eeveelutions Set, is one of the most recognizable Japanese Pokémon TCG products from the Sword & Shield era.

Released in Japan on May 28, 2021, the set was created around Eevee and all eight of its evolutions. It combines two Japanese Eevee Heroes booster boxes with exclusive Eeveelution-themed accessories and a special Espeon VMAX promotional card.

What Is the Eevee Heroes Gym Box?

The Eevee Heroes Gym Box is the collector-focused product associated with the Japanese Sword & Shield—Eevee Heroes expansion.

Its official Japanese name is Eevee Heroes Eeveelutions Set. Pokémon released the product through Pokémon Centers, Pokémon Stores, Pokémon Center Online, and participating Pokémon Card Gym stores in Japan.

The product was specifically designed around Eevee and its eight evolutions:

• Vaporeon
• Jolteon
• Flareon
• Espeon
• Umbreon
• Leafeon
• Glaceon
• Sylveon

The same Eeveelution artwork appears across several of the included accessories, creating a unified collector’s set.

When Was the Eevee Heroes Gym Box Released?

The Eevee Heroes Eeveelutions Set was released in Japan on May 28, 2021, the same day as the Japanese S6a Eevee Heroes expansion.

Its original suggested retail price was 11,330 yen including tax.

The product was therefore part of the original Japanese launch of Eevee Heroes rather than a later anniversary or reprint product.

What Comes Inside the Eevee Heroes Gym Box?

The official Pokémon Card Game listing confirms that the product contains:

• 2 Eevee Heroes booster boxes
• 60 Eevee Heroes booster packs in total
• 64 Eeveelution-themed deck sleeves
• 1 deck case
• 1 Espeon VMAX promo card
• 1 card storage box

This is a substantial amount of Pokémon TCG content for a single collector product.

The two booster boxes provide the opening experience, while the accessories and exclusive promo give the set its collector identity.

Two Eevee Heroes Booster Boxes

The biggest component of the Gym Box is the inclusion of two Japanese Eevee Heroes booster boxes.

Each Japanese Eevee Heroes booster box contains 30 booster packs, giving the complete Gym Box a total of 60 booster packs. Japanese Eevee Heroes packs contain five cards each.

This gives collectors a large number of opportunities to discover cards from the S6a Eevee Heroes expansion.

The set focuses heavily on Eevee and its evolutions, with Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX appearing throughout the expansion.

Eevee Heroes: The Expansion

The Japanese Eevee Heroes expansion is part of the Sword & Shield era and is officially designated S6a.

The expansion includes Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX featuring Eevee’s evolutions. Pokémon’s official card list highlights Pokémon such as Umbreon VMAX, Umbreon V, and other Eeveelutions.

The set became particularly well known among collectors because of its Eeveelution-focused card lineup.

Some of the most recognizable Pokémon associated with the expansion include:

• Umbreon VMAX
• Umbreon V
• Espeon VMAX
• Espeon V
• Sylveon VMAX
• Sylveon V
• Glaceon VMAX
• Glaceon V
• Leafeon VMAX
• Leafeon V
• Vaporeon VMAX
• Jolteon VMAX
• Flareon VMAX

This strong focus on Eevee’s evolutions is one of the main reasons the expansion remains important to Eeveelution collectors.

The Exclusive Espeon VMAX Promo

The centerpiece of the Eevee Heroes Gym Box is the Espeon VMAX promotional card.

The official Pokémon Card Game announcement explains that the Espeon VMAX included with the product has a different Special Art illustration from the Espeon VMAX included in the separate VMAX Special Set Eevee Heroes product.

The promo is identified as Espeon VMAX 189/S-P.

This distinction is important for collectors because the card is not simply a duplicate of another Espeon VMAX artwork.

The exclusive artwork makes the promo one of the defining components of the Eevee Heroes Gym Box.

The Eeveelution-Themed Sleeves

The product includes 64 deck sleeves featuring Eevee and its eight evolutions.

The official product artwork uses a soft, storybook-style illustration showing Eevee alongside its evolutions. The same artwork is carried across several parts of the product.

For players, the 64 sleeves are enough to protect a standard Pokémon TCG deck.

For collectors, the sleeves are also part of the overall Eevee Heroes display.

The Special Deck Box

The Gym Box includes a matching deck case.

The artwork is designed to complement the sleeves and storage box.

One interesting feature is that the illustration is presented differently depending on the side of the deck case. The official Pokémon description notes that the artwork creates a more three-dimensional feeling, with different Pokémon visible from different sides.

This makes the deck box more than a basic card container.

The Card Storage Box

The product also contains a dedicated card storage box.

The same Eevee and Eeveelution artwork appears on the storage box, creating a consistent visual theme throughout the product.

With two booster boxes included, the storage box is particularly practical for organizing the cards pulled from Eevee Heroes.

Collectors can also use it for sleeves, deck accessories, or other Japanese Pokémon cards.

Why Is the Eevee Heroes Gym Box So Collectible?

The product combines several elements that appeal to Pokémon TCG collectors.

Eeveelution Theme

The entire product revolves around Eevee and its eight evolutions.

Exclusive Espeon VMAX

The Gym Box contains a special Espeon VMAX illustration that differs from the version found in the separate VMAX Special Set.

Two Booster Boxes

You receive 60 Japanese Eevee Heroes booster packs in total.

Matching Accessories

The sleeves, deck case, and storage box use coordinated Eevee Heroes artwork.

Japanese Product

The original product was released in Japan through Pokémon Center and Pokémon Card Gym distribution channels.

The Eeveelutions Featured in the Artwork

The artwork is one of the defining features of the Gym Box.

It brings together all eight of Eevee’s traditional evolutions:

Eeveelution	Type
Vaporeon	Water
Jolteon	Electric
Flareon	Fire
Espeon	Psychic
Umbreon	Dark
Leafeon	Grass
Glaceon	Ice
Sylveon	Fairy

Together with Eevee, these Pokémon give the product its distinctive identity.

The same illustration theme appears across the deck sleeves, deck case, and storage box.

Eevee Heroes Gym Box for Sealed Collectors

The Gym Box is particularly suited to sealed-product collectors.

Keeping the complete box sealed preserves:

• Two Eevee Heroes booster boxes
• The exclusive Espeon VMAX promo
• 64 sleeves
• Deck case
• Storage box
• Original outer packaging

A sealed example also preserves the original presentation of the Eeveelution artwork.

However, sealed Pokémon TCG products should not be viewed as guaranteed investments. Future market value can change based on supply, demand, condition, collector interest, and availability.

Eevee Heroes Gym Box for Pack Openers

Collectors who enjoy opening packs have a substantial amount of product to explore.

With 60 Japanese booster packs, the Gym Box provides many opportunities to discover cards from Eevee Heroes.

The expansion includes Pokémon V and Pokémon VMAX featuring Eevee’s evolutions.

Possible cards to look for include different Eeveelution V and VMAX cards, alternate-art cards, Trainer cards, and other rarities within the expansion.

As always, booster pack contents are randomized, so opening a Gym Box does not guarantee a particular card.

Eevee Heroes Gym Box as a Display Piece

Even without opening the booster boxes, the Gym Box can work as a display item.

The coordinated artwork across the packaging and accessories gives the product a unified appearance.

Collectors can display the:

• Outer collector box
• Eevee Heroes booster boxes
• Espeon VMAX promo
• Deck box
• Sleeves

together as one themed collection.

The product’s focus on Eevee and all eight evolutions makes it especially recognizable among Japanese Sword & Shield-era sealed products.

How to Store an Eevee Heroes Gym Box

If you own a sealed Gym Box, storage conditions are important.

Keep it:

• Away from direct sunlight.
• In a cool, dry environment.
• Away from high humidity.
• Protected from dust and moisture.
• Away from heavy objects that could crush the packaging.
• On a stable surface where it will not be knocked over.

If you open the product, store the Espeon VMAX promo in a protective sleeve and rigid holder.

The sleeves and other accessories should also be kept away from excessive heat and humidity.

Eevee Heroes Gym Box vs. Standard Booster Box

The two products serve different purposes.

Feature	Eevee Heroes Gym Box	Eevee Heroes Booster Box
Eevee Heroes booster boxes	2	1
Total booster packs	60	30
Exclusive Espeon VMAX promo	Yes	No
Deck sleeves	64	No
Deck box	Yes	No
Storage box	Yes	No
Eeveelution artwork	Extensive	Standard booster-box design
Main focus	Collecting + opening	Pack opening

The Gym Box therefore combines the contents of two booster boxes with a collection of exclusive accessories and a special promo.
